Just read the previous review and wondering if there is pattern. I bought an almost complete bike (provided my own wheels). The frameset snapped after one year due to a manufacturing fault. This was accepted by Kinesis the manufacturer, however they wanted to charge an upgrade fee because they no longer made a rim brake version. They then agreed to waive the fee in writing, but later reneged. I sent my frame back at my cost nearly a year ago. Still no resolution and looking to take the retailer to court. Check they’re open before you go. Was on a cycle tour on Monday and needed some parts. Checked the website which said they were open. Cycled 25k out of my way and when I arrived it was shut! There was a note on the window that said they are sometimes out and two telephone numbers were listed to call. Tried the mobile three times and it didn’t connect. Nobody answered the landline. Really good bike shop, outstanding friendly service, even a great coffee shop 2 doors down should u want to wait for a quick repair job etc.
