I booked what was supposed to be a myofascial release session, and after reading about the technique beforehand, I expected targeted, sustained pressure on specific trigger points and restricted areas. Myofascial release is supposed to involve slow, intentional pressure to help release tight fascia, improve mobility, and reduce chronic pain, especially in areas like my right shoulder blade, which I came in for.
