It's a great credit union. They charge fees for things like checkbooks (about $35) and mailed statements ($4 a month!!), things that other credit unions offer for free. Otherwise it's been a great experience. The people are always polite.
I would not advise anyone to go to Peach State Federal Credit Union! I opened an account with them and the lady told me there was a membership fee which I understood that. So then I applied for a loan and nobody never told me that they charged to apply for a loan. Come to find out there is a $15 charge to apply for a loan which I didn’t find out until I closed my account. There is a fee for everything with them. This is the worst Credit Union that I have ever dealt with in my whole entire life. I am 40 now and I'm dealing with nothing but absolute nonsense when it comes to this Bank. There is no one to contact after hours so that also tells me that they don't care about the customers and then I can't even send money to anyone through this Bank. I would never finance my home through this Bank ever ever ever. This bank in South State Bank Is probably the two worst banks that you can ever put your money into.
