Awesome place to stop in flagstaff. I needed some hiking boots and wasn't sure what I was looking for. The staff here helped me out completely! She brought me about 10 different pairs, pointed out the difference between each one and what to expect when I try them on. She probably spent about an hour with me as I tried on pair after pair of hiking boot, trail shoes, etc until I found the perfect fit for me! It was definitely worth a stop!
PEACE Surplus is without a doubt the single best outdoor store I've ever shopped at!!! The customer service is amazing!! I had a new pair of Keens that has a tread defect and they took care of the whole process of helping me get new ones! In addition to that on multiple occasions they have helped me find the best gear for my camping back packing trips. Honestly I will never shop for new gear anywhere else. I drive from Sedona every time I need something new because the experience is always worth it!

We rented camping equipment for our Rim to Rim Grand Canyon hike. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, even helping us fit a backpack and getting a different one when the first didn’t work. Reserving the equipment online was easy, as was the return. Added bonus: they had some great recommendations for places to eat! All around good experience!
Hands-down my favorite outdoors shop. Personal, enthusiastic staff, great selection, and generally a great atmosphere.
Be honest and provide the rental equipment paid for. Do not rent out damaged equipment then charge repairs for the damage
