Struggled with my apartment complex with resolving a rent payment issue. I reached out to PayNearMe and asked for assistance. The Customer Service rep (Genesis) took my call and from the get-go, she acknowledged my issue, provided details of what had happened, reached out to the apartment company and got the issue resolved within 48 hours. I just received an email from this company stating a payment from a discover debit card was made to an account. But I've never dealt with this company, and I don't even have a discover card ending in 8402. So I don't understand why I'm receiving an email like this. I LIVE IN FLORIDA!!! And I don't owe any debts, nor do I have any financial ties to this California-based company. So I would really appreciate an explanation for why my email address is being used in conjunction with this company. Please advise.
