My experience at Payne Academy of Ballet I personally got a lot out of going to Payne Academy of Ballet. I have been training with Jim and Bridget for 7 years now and because of them I was able to go dance with Boston Ballet, The Washington School of Ballet, and Ballet West. Their attention to technique and detail helps improve all their dancers. Horrible, the worst academy in the area. This ballet academy is a joke. The instructors are awful, and make you feel like crap whenever you get something wrong and I spent six years there learning how not to dance. The quality of instruction is terrible, and none of their dancers can really grow. I developed an eating disorder that landed me in the hospital from the extremely high pressure to be as thin as possible.
