Unifin sent debt collection details for someone else's account to my email — not mine, no authorization on the account. That exposed the account holder's name, balance, account number, and reference ID to an unassociated third party. When I called to report it, the rep hung up mid-call, and there's been no follow-up since. Why this is a problem: 1. SCAM FRAUD ALERT!! If this company contacts you, report them to ReportFraud.ftc.gov - This is not a legitimate debt collector, this is a scam company that will try to saddle you with debt that isn't actually yours. It's very illegal. Report them instead to the Federal Trade Commission and block all emails and phone numbers.

They have me owing $409.00.The T Mobile account that says that I need to pay this is a scam. My account is in someone else's name and it is paid each and every month and is current and in good standing.You people are a scam and you are bullying people in paying for something that they do not owe. T Mobile is not in my name so that is where I know you are a fraud.Back off. I will be having a discussion with T-MOBILE regarding this fraudulent claim.

I have tried multiple times to let this business know about the identity theft that caused the charges they have put on my credit report and have been hung up on EVERY SINGLE TIME! I am now researching a way to go AROUND THEM and remove the debt from all three credit reports because they obviously have very shoddy business practices confirming what I had read, that they are not a legitimate business.
