If you enjoy spending more time waiting to get a car then your flight to MSP then this is the place for you. Spend the extra and use something other than Avis-Budget-Payless.
After 45 minute wait at counter, watched 2 people be handled, I knew it was a poor choice choosing the company I paid less on. Elder man with black hair leaves on 20 minute break when there was 10 people in line. Paid for a suv for my family and received a Camry. I’ll pass on this worthless, I mean Payless customer service and rental again.
Extremely tired & disappointed. We arrived MSP 7:30pm, headed to Payless Rental Car counter...It's now 8:45pm, still waiting in line. Approx 10 clients in front of us, and 15 more clients behind us. Only 1 employee at the counter to process both Payless & Budget counters. Estimate waiting time is 3hrs.
Stay away! Waited more than 2 1/2 hours for a car that was reserved more than 3 months in advance. Were finally given a space number, went to the space - no car. Then had to flag someone down and wait for them to find us an actual vehicle. Ridiculous!
