Trying to get to a funeral. Scheduled to pick up a car at the Orlando airport. Delta flights had all been delayed, and now arrived to no one working at the counters for Payless. Went to first counter and found a sign to go to another counter. No one there either!! Thank God for the man from Avis. Had to go through the whole process of getting another car. Never did get to the funeral!!
The counter agent and car itself were great, but this company is a scam. When I went to pick up my reserved vehicle, they required added hidden fees and insurance, even though I have rental coverage through my own insurance company. My insurance has always been accepted at other rental agencies (Budget, Enterprise, etc.) It was too late to change to another rental company through my travel servce, and I ended up paying almost double what I had reserved the car for.
