This was an expensive car rental for an old car with damage to the interior. I have rented a lot of cars from various companies over the years, and the quality of this car had been the lowest level. It was also difficult to find where to get the shuttle for Payless rather than the other rental car companies. I would’ve given this a one star review however, Claudia at the Boston Logan service desk was incredibly helpful. She deserves five stars.

BEWARE: If they feel like they need to vacuum the carpets, you will be charged a $125 cleaning fee. Evidently vacuuming is an extra option that they can charge for at their discretion. Not all rental car companies are the same. I will never use Payless/Avis again (they are basically the same company).
Standing in the line for budget, Avis and Payless. My reservation is with budget. I have been in line for over an hour. There are only 2 counter staff. The line behind me is crazy. There are no lines at any of the other rental agencies
If there was a 0 star option, I would give it. I've rented from Sixt, Hertz, Alamo, etc., and from almost all of them, Payless is the worst of all. In addition to the delay in getting service, they are scoundrels. They didn't return my security deposit and added $70 to it. The car was delivered in the same condition I picked it up, full of fuel. I don't recommend it, and I'll do everything I can to let everyone know how dishonest this company is.
