If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. Waited over an hour (in line) to pick up the car. I paid for a Chrysler 200 or similar and was given an impala and told they do not even offer that vehicle. This was a downgrade, as impala was an option when booking for a lower different price. Nonetheless, I agreed to the car. I was given a nice car to drive. Customer service to rent the car was good. Going to the garage to get the car and the workers were not so helpful. Now that I see how it works to rent a vehicle at the atl airport, I will be better prepared next time
I wish I had read the reviews about Payless Car Rental before I used them for my trip to Atlanta. They are scams! I just looked at several reviews and it seems they have a reputation for charging customers for services they didn't request. This is what happened to me. I was charged an additional $97 for insurance coverage even though I had paid it upfront with my reservations through Priceline. Car smells like cigarettes yuk
Well the only thing I have to say is don't bother calling the customer service line due to you can't understand anyone, they never have any information unless you make them find it their selves and never informed me of the $200.00 deposit when reserving the vehicle got that surprise at the counter. I returned my car with less than 1/4 of gas missing due to no gas station near the airport grounds and they charged me $108.63 for it.
