First time using Payless today and I guess my last. I rented a car in Atlanta, wait 30 minutes in to be told they don’t have one and that I would have to pay a $30 cancellation fee… that is absurd.
If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. Waited over an hour (in line) to pick up the car. I paid for a Chrysler 200 or similar and was given an impala and told they do not even offer that vehicle. This was a downgrade, as impala was an option when booking for a lower different price. Nonetheless, I agreed to the car. Upon leaving the rental place, the car began shaking on the highway (EVERY TIME I DROVE OVER 60MPH). When I arrived to my destination, a roach was found in the trunk. I was given a nice car to drive. Customer service to rent the car was good. Going to the garage to get the car and the workers were not so helpful. Now that I see how it works to rent a vehicle at the atl airport, I will be better prepared next time
