We booked a reservation 4 weeks in advance for a 7hr road trip. The day of pickup, instead of just picking up the vehicle we reserved, there was a hiccup to where we needed to cancel our previous reservation and make a new one. We ended up with a Mazda Cx5 instead of the Toyota Rav 4. It wreaked of cigarette smoke, had expired tags and I couldn’t use CarPlay on it. I was traveling with my toddlers and mom. I won’t be using this rental service again. I should have looked at the reviews prior to booking.

Sure it’s the cheapest, but I’d recommend looking into other rental companies. I recently rented a vehicle that smelled of cigarette and we were using it for a road trip. Thankfully my daughter sprayed something to help with the smell. Never again.

They do not answer the phone during business hours. Trying to pick up the car in the morning, the lady at the rental counter is very nice, but you will not get your car at the scheduled time because the garage workers casually come in late to prepare the cars. After I was finally done at the counter, it took 30 minutes just to pull up the car. I ended up being over an hour late for what I needed the car for. This is worse than a budget company, highly do not recommend.

I made a reservation for a standard car specifically for an 8-hour road trip and was supposed to get a Camry or similar. I arrived 30 minutes early and still had to wait 40 minutes in line. By the time I got to the counter, I was told the car I reserved wouldn’t be ready “for a very long time” (with a side of attitude) and was given a Jeep instead.
