I am incredibly disappointed in Payless Car Rental. I made a reservation through the Southwest app. I knew I was coming in late but hoped they would be open until my flight got there. The flight was delayed and there was no one at the counter. There was no way to pick up my reserved car without the desk agent and none of the other rental places had a car available at 11:30 at night. This is unacceptable. Payless offered me two expired infant car seats and had to borrow another one from a different car rental company just so I could get on the road. By then baby was hungry, crying and tired. So was I as mom!! One of these expired, musty and dusty car seats was also broken. My friend reported the same thing happening to her at the El Paso airport recently. It shouldn’t be difficult for a whole business to prioritize and acquire 1-2 new car seats quickly.
Had a horrible experience when renting and the car it stank like cigarettes it was overall disappointing, and to top it off can’t reach them you call there number and keeps saying user busy! Do not use Payless at El Paso Airport, you’ll regret it

Worst car rental experience of my life they kept our $250 deposit customer service bullshit, gave me the runaround for about a month I have yet to see my deposit returned. This company is a joke do not rent from these people unprofessional and thieves!!!!
