More like PayMore. Don't bother. They advertise low prices, my orbitz reservation was less than $100 for 4 days. My bill from Payless was over $400. Go with the big name places and get better service and prices.
Cost effective I would have to say my experience with pay-less car rental was satisfactory. Yes they have the longest lines, ( because they are the most affordable) but they were definitely customer friendly). If you are looking to save on car rental , then I would try Payless, but you may have to wait in line for awhile. Just be certain to reservations on line first.

Stay awayyyyy...!!!!! I needed to rent cars a few times in recent months, I found the prices of payless comes attractive. When I got it the first time, imediately I had a bad impression. Seriously, STAY AWAY Worst ever! Seriously, STAY AWAY from this place. I've rented cars dozens and dozens of times.....and I will never rent from them REGARDLESS of how much I might save over another company.
Payless Car Rental- Orlando I read many negative reviews on payless the night before my trip. I had already booked a car and it was too late to switch. It was during Easter week so all the other car rentals either had nothing available or were 3 times the cost. Sucks I am a Michigan State University student that rented out of Orlando. A Payless employee took advantage of me being young and inexperienced with car renting. I specifically stated I did not want the car insurance they offered and that I had my own he said "Okay and that he waved this fee, and he waved this 350 deposit fee etc." I was skeptical because with being under aged my price should have been around $300 but it was $400.
