NEVER RENT A CAR FROM PAYLESS. They have lots of hidden charges despite asking questions and you will be told you don't have to pay extra and then they will charge you extra. Not only that, you don't get the car you paid for. You have to sit and wait while random cars come instead of picking up the car you paid for. I severely regret not going with enterprise or avis. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.
One of those places in which you book 3 months in advance but when you show up they just tell you they have no vehicles available. And none of the representatives really care about it !!
The service was great—until it wasn’t. I was actually having a good experience and was offered a free upgrade in exchange for completing a review, so I figured, why not? The upgraded vehicle itself was nice, but unfortunately, there was smoke coming from the vents. I called customer service because this was obviously concerning, and I was told to go to the nearest location to exchange the vehicle. Tried to changed rental time and all I got was a computer generated nonsense asking questions with I didn't get that....
One star is too much. Absolutely disgusting experience. Lina was playing on her phone texting and FaceTiming our entire time at the counter. Her heavier coworker took enough breaks from her phone to give us the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. Our flight was cancelled and rescheduled for the same time the following day. We had called ahead to inform the company, and were told no problem, the reservation for pick up would be moved.
