Terrible experience attempting to rent with this company. I myself am just under 25 years old; my husband younger. We had to fly into Kansas City and then drive 4 hours to our destination for a job interview for my husband. I did so much research to make sure that we could rent from them being under 25 and only having a debit card at this time. From what I found they rented to under 25 and those with debit cards. Why do I have to beg to get a receipt? When my card was charged I did not receive a receipt. Customer service is useless…Payless cant pull the receipt, refers me to Avis Customer Service who also cannot pull the receipt. Automated system can’t email a receipt. Trash.
Easy seamless process, would use again!
Great car, but I dropped the car off after hours and the problem began. I've called Payless Car Rental at least 8 times and have yet to receive the receipt. I need the receipt for reimbursement of funds. Each time I speak with someone they say, "receipt will be sent momentarily, or in 30 minutes, or in 4 hours". I'm a week out and no receipt. Both weird and inept. Avis owns Payless; I've called them as well. No help. Good luck to those who dare.
Where to start, the car was dirty when i picked it up in and outside, it needed an oil change, had no wiper fluid and as the windshield was dirty i didnt see the chip in the windshield.(edited due to charge cost being fixed.) At the counter i was not provided a contract to sign and after dropoff 2 days ago i still have not been provided a receipt. I have emailed my info, and will update when they respond.
