I love Paula’s work. She is such an accomplished artist, in so many mediums—watercolor, oils, pastels, pen and ink, graphite. Her work can be serious or whimsical. Her portraits are remarkable, both in their likeness and in her capture of a person’s personality or spirit. I have two portraits that she did of my daughter, which I love—one when she was just about a year old, in watercolor, and another when she was three, in pastel. I recently purchased a Paula Grimes painting of a sailboat scene in Cotuit. Her work is phenomenal. Paula truly has a unique talent, and our family has been captured by her work. Every time we look at Paula’s painting, it reminds us of days spent sitting on that sunny beach.

We received a gift certificate from a beloved Aunt to have Paula draw a portrait of our children in charcoal. I gave her a photograph and we were blown away at what she drew. It is a wonderful keepsake for our family, we were moved to tears. Paula is a brilliantly talented artist and I highly recommend her to make a one-of-a-kind family heirloom.
