I went in today for my birthday to get a facial by Camilo Rios, and I may say, one of the best gifts ever. As soon as I walked in he came and greeted me. Already super welcoming. Gave me a questionnaire to fill out about my skin, allergies, etc which I loved. When I got my facial, I’ve never been so relaxed and felt so peaceful and grounded. I went there because I heard they have supervised haircuts, with level one for $8 and level two for $10. They charged me $15, which isn't the real issue, but the student didn't know basic techniques like sectioning or keeping hair damp. The student, Saide, spent two hours just trimming my hair. When I asked about the actual cut because she was tired, she just chopped away and ruined it. The teacher even called her out for cutting off all my front hair, which looks disgusting. I just had my hair washed, trimmed, and blow-dried by Leo, and I must say, both Leo and the instructors did an exceptional job. The price was very reasonable, making it a great value overall.
Areanna is really good! She works really well with my natural hair. Tangling is not an issue and she's careful to ensure no loss of natural curl pattern. Update: 2026 Areanna has long since graduated and left the area. I went back a few months ago and they have a female teacher who is very unknowledgeable!!! The only excellent teacher is Tony!
