Made some donations, the staff was super nice and insisted they unload all of it.
Drove down with donations. Only accepted some of it because "we have enough of that". Walked around inside a bit. Clean, well organized. Prices were high ($3 quart Mason jar). Better prices on hanging light fixtures. Guess like most thrifting, it's if you have a lucky day.
It was my first time here. I love a good thrift shop but this one was stifling hot and just felt like they don’t clean the floors or anything. They had lots of good stuff but a lot of it kind of just felt like junk. The prices were also pretty high for a second hand store. It just didn’t seem like any good deals
I coordinated with Habitat for Patuxent Humanity Restore to donate furniture in July 2026. My experience with their representative (Moriah) who showed a willingness to work with you and find ways to meet your needs of recycling and donation while also meeting Patuxent Habitat for Humanity Restore’s policies. Debra was a big help assisting us we the items we were donating. She coordinated the entire pickup for our item, the driver was on time and was a pleasure to work with.
