I have contacted the billing department multiple times about my refund and still no resolution. My insurance carrier paid the bill in full and my shared responsibility was $0. I have called the billing department and requested a refund because I paid my copay during the visit. Now the billing department has multiple reasons why they can't refund me. The insurance company paid them on January 9, 2025. It is January 18, 2025 and still no refund or confirmation of a refund. Excuse after excuse after excuse. Terrible experience.
Have been trying to get in touch with their billing department all day about a bill they sent me that is wrong. They "forgot" to apply a contractual adjustment to my account and it is coincidently the same amount as my balance - because I paid my copay to see their specialist at time of service. You can't get through to their billing dept because it's "closed" despite it being within their posted operating hours. Absolutely ridiculous that a healthcare company of this size doesn't have someone to fix/answer their phones.
Watch your bills!! Just got one stating I owed from a service provided on 02/09/23. February 8 months ago!!!? Luckily I keep my statements and proof of payment. But, what if I didn’t and maybe starting with dementia? How many older people would just pay it?! This isn’t right!! I call just like I did months ago when I got the same letter. IT HAD BEEN PAID!! My Plan PAID IT. STOP THIS! Watch your bills and maybe someone else you know that might just pay it again!
My scheduled surgery had to be cancelled. This happened 2 months ago and they will not refund the money I had to prepay. I’ve called and they still haven’t issued a refund.
I hate this place I do not recommend I’ve been going back and forth with them and my insurance for so long and i had insurance at the time of service no supervisor are ever available and the issue has been spiraling out of control i called every week and nothing has been resolved but they sent the bill to collections when it should’ve went to peach state !
