Horrible service, aggressive tactics, rude and unprofessional, I would not recommend anybody who is looking to build their credit to this credit union, it is for people with already great credit scores, it is not for your average people with average incomes looking to build their credit, try wright patt or navy federal or chace or wellsfargo anybody but thus bank, you will thank me later,
We applied for a home loan and two months later we still had not been approved. Pathways was offering a 5% home loan and when they came back and conditionally approved us they changed the rate to 5.5%. I do not recommend giving in to their lies. This is short version.
I applied for an account at Pathways and it is almost 2 weeks and I still don't have an account there. I have called 3 times. Each time the person answering showed total lack of care to help. The first time I was told they would get to me when they had time. The second two times I was transferred and hung up on. I obviously made a big mistake in choosing Pathways Financial Credit Union.
I had been a member of another credit union for over 30 years and never had any problems. Then this place takes over after my credit union sold out. Ive had nothing but problems with Pathways. They gave me a separate credit score, 100 points lower than my wife. They sent her a Master Card, but I never got one and Im the only income for our family. Bait and switch home refi offer. They don't deserve even one star. Everything perfect, excellent credit, locked loan rate in at 2.62% for 15 years, no cash out just straight refinance at $120,000. Same job for 22 years, owned home 15 years(which I had no problem getting loan of $150,000 in 2005 on a rundown, torn up house that had sit empty for years, even refinanced in 2012 for $138,000. They are not for the customer they are out for themselves! So disappointed since they took over ********* ****** ******It no longer feels like a hometown credit union but a big corporation. I advise if you have an account here to move your money!
