The exterior of the gallery was so inviting that we were drawn in. We were impressed by the variety of his styles: from color filled to black and whites. Pat spent a great deal of time with us explaining his monotype technique. Just incredible

I randomly happened upon Pat’s gallery and decided on a whim to take an oil painting lesson. Wow! I’m simply blown away by the value of this experience. Not only is Pat a renowned artist in a variety of media, but he is an incredible teacher. My girlfriend gifted me a 3-hour oil painting lesson with Pat. As a first timer I was nervous to get started, but Pat was very patient, encouraging, and made for a really fun few hours! The lesson starts off with some informational material and introduction to painting. Pat does a great job of slowly lengthening the leash and allowing you to build confidence. Made for a wonderful first experience and I'm excited to continue "slinging that brush!"

Stopped by on our visit to Taos and was blessed by having the chance to watch Pat work. I loved seeing his vision come to life as we enjoyed browsing his studio. If you're a fellow artist or art lover and are in the area, please stop by. Who knows, you might find inspiration..I know I did 🥰

Beautiful gallery filled with fantastic art! A must drop in place when in Taos. For a price, sign up for a wonderful art lesson, experience with Pat Woodall. Pat is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. I am actually considering doing this once a year.
