Upon entering there is typically five or six girls making treats. No one greets you as you awkwardly stand there and wait for them to stop talking and acknowledge you. I like the praline treats and certain other candies but not enough to endure such awkwardness and have recently stopped going.
Have been here twice in the past few months and both times I was shocked by the prices. First visit was nearly $40 for some chocolate goodies, and this visit today was going to be $27 until I asked the cashier to put some of the items back. I ended up getting three chocolate coconut patties. They were $4 each… and not very large either. The other items in question were two SMALL coconut macaroons, and two macadamia chocolate patties. Love their chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate shakes.
Candy markup is exorbitant!! 6 Zots candies cost $2.62. I can get a bag of 100 from Amazon for $9.31. No way they should charge 44 cents for a 10 cent piece of candy they don’t even make. I should have said forget it and left but I just paid for them and have no plans of returning or taking any of my guests there again.
