Horrible place. They are all crooks. They take advantage of vulnerable people and end up destroying credit and charging people loads of money for NOTHING. Not sorry to see they closed down. Good ridence.
Graduated in 2010 with a BFA - Graphic Design. We were allowed to cheat in most academic classes. The dean said it was because "You are creative types and are typically not good at the other stuff." Some of the teachers were incompetent as well. A 100% rip-off. Thankfully, I wasn't incompetent, and have a decent job in my industry. I'm glad Ai got fined by the government for illegal recruitment tactics and I'm glad they're closing a bunch of their corrupt campuses.
Don't bother with any Art Institute school, they are all crooks, please do Not bother with any sort of school that is "for profit". They want people from middle/lower middle class financial situations to take out loans in hope of a better future. They charge you excessively and the classes are never available when you need them so out of fear of losing your loans or getting kicked out you take extraneous classes and wrack ip more debt.
