Horrible, horrible experience with the Pasadena Housing Authority, likely due to Jim Wong's decision making. Was in an affordable housing unit for almost 7 years, when the city removed it from affordable housing list. Got suddenly evicted without warning of what they had done. This was two years ago. The City still has not provided any replacement housing. It seems that one has to be found literally sleeping on the sidewalk, possibly arrested by police, before emergency shelter is offered.
