We have been waiting almost 6 weeks for a quote for our decking material. We ended up going in during the decking event /sale on Saturday 5/30 and was promised by Todd we would get a call on Monday 6/1. No call on Monday. My husband called on Tuesday and left a message. Treated well and unloaded quickly!
I called in to ask about availability of 1x8x16 clear cedar. Counter sales told me they had one nice board, clean face and edges, not bowed, cupped or warped and that they set it aside for me. I drove 35 minutes through traffic to look at it to buy. Turned out they didn’t actually set it aside, and it had a 4 foot long lengthwise crack. I just wasted 1.5 hours driving out there. How can you not notice that? None of the staff really cared I drove all that way.
