The most racist, YMCA location I have ever been to if you’re black no one gets you at the front desk. I’ve been here frequent times there’s only one elderly woman that has ever greeted me. The members also look at you as if you are misplaced so if you are black, I would advise you not to come here, especially if you want to have a comfortable gym session because that is exactly what’s not going to happen it’s actually sad and they need to fix it
This is a good place to get some exercise and also to socialize occasionally. The building and amenities are good. There are several gyms with different equipment and small basketball courts. They offer a variety of classes, but they fill up too quickly, so it's hard and often impossible to find a spot :-/ The pool is clean and at the right temperature. This is a wonderful facility, with a range of cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights. The pool is fabulous, as are the water exercise classes, which are taught by highly competent instructors. The staff is friendly and courteous. It's a great value for the money. My only complaint, which is the reason for only a 4-star rating, is the parking lot. At certain times it can be stressful to find a space in time to get to a class.
