Very scammy CU. We brought them a cashier's check to cash, they held onto it for a week and came back saying it was fraudulent (it wasn't). They googled LLC that sent me the check, and the first Google result for that name is a trucking company in Kentucky. They called them, and obviously told them they didn't write me a check. That's because the bank and company that sent the check are Texas based. So they just straight up contacted the wrong company. My former husband received an inheritance cashier's check for $4,000 from his grandfather's estate. Since he doesn't have a bank account, he kindly endorsed the check to me. Unfortunately, this credit union deemed the check fraudulent and held it for almost two weeks. My ex-husband urgently needed the funds due to his challenging circumstances.
