My name is Gail. I've called Parkvale home for 8 years. After viewing several Lodges, I chose this one. It felt more like a home rather than an "old folk's home"! The neighbourhood is quiet and there are parks all around us. The Lodge is very clean and the staff couldn't be more welcoming and caring. Activities go on all day, along with movies and crafts. I live in the loudge and it has a great staff and the people who live here injoy the activities
My mother lived there for 10 years. She recently passed. Going through her belongings items were missing. Heart broken by this. Otherwise, regular staff were amazing.
If I could give 10 stars I would. The staff here are beyond amazing and go above and beyond for each individual in the lodge. They’re always looking out for our loved ones for us and even support families in any way they can.
