I have been at adventra for 2 and a half year. The residents are awesome very friendly the nurses are well trained and the place is beautiful the office and the dinning could use some helpbut it's nice

I have been at adventra for 2 and a half years I have seen residents waiting over an hour for a bowl of cereal and a muffin. They lied to people to get them to rent a place they treat the employees like warm bodies not people Kristy the DON is two faced knowing that a person had depression they allowed him to have a gun that he used to shoot himself. I have heard the concierge call people names and yell at them to get away from the front desk because they were upsetting her I would recommend anyone wanting to put their loved... read more

My husband and I moved in to the Independent Living at Aventura Overland Park earlier this year and we have absolutely loved our time here thus far! The staff have gone above and beyond with any and all questions we may have, and the front desk concierge, always greets us with a smile! The activities they offer are top notch and we have enjoyed getting to know other residents through the different programming Aventura has to offer. We were "sold" on a completely different experience than we received. The bulk of the activities revolved around residents being parked in front of the tv in the common area while the aides sat around on their phones. They allowed my mom to walk around in soiled clothing after meals and charged us for every time they had to help her navigate to the dining room.
