I gave this district a 1 star review because there is no less than 1 or I would have rated 0 stars. Same drama - infused, estrogen- overloaded scenes / different channel - and very scared of and cower to LDS families with money to throw around to get their way - weird/ culture and extremely unsafe and unacceptable isolation / confinement as a disciplinary consequence for special needs students as in padded, locked rooms. This district has too much turnover. The newest superintendent doesn't seem to know what she's doing, but is raking in just under half a million dollars each year in salary and benefits. Meanwhile, teachers are fleeing the district. Most of the superintendent decisions don't make any sense. There's no transparency. Communication is dreadful. We don't have enough substitutes to teach the students. Whatever you think this district is, think again. It's average on its best day.
