My first time at the Parisian Beauty Academy and still very happy with the out come of my wash and flat iron experience. My hairstylist was Melody just as sweet and pleasant personality. The first thing she did was ask me questions which I really appreciated. This showed me as a customer she was concerned about my hair and wanted to ensure that I received a good treatment. If you want to save money Parisian is the way to go BUT – I’m writing this review to help people out there to decide if they want to save money and try their luck at a beauty school vs. paying exorbitant salon prices. I wanted to do permanent color on my long black hair into super duper black. I initially had a salon appointment at Jon Anthony for $85. I realized that the economy sucks and I wanted to save money. Unpleasant experience – Last week, I got a haircut and highlights done at Parisian, and it was pretty BAD experience. The hair wash was a minute long and didn't even get my entire head wet, and the blow-dry was weak, unprofessional and sloppy, leaving chunks of my hair still wet by the end. The haircut was one of the worst I've ever had in my life.
