The nurses here are absolutely amazing!
Was advised on discharge July29th that home care would come to our home to change dressings on day 5 (Aug 3rd) after hip replacement Advised by LHIN that Paramed had NO in home nursing care available until Aug 29th! Informed that I now have to jeopardize my husbands recovery by having him get into and out of our 4 wheel drive truck after a hip replacement to have his dressing changed at their clinic. Kudos to the Paramed nursing staff in Sault Ste Marie.Our son Jamie required Iv antibiotics and wound care daily right through Christmas week. My husband Tom who took him to the clinic daily has only positive comments about the competence and compassion of the nursing staff.
