I'd been dealing with Paragon Bank for several months ahead of opening my own small business. They set me up with an SBA loan and got me to the 1-yard line in fine fashion. However, once it was time to actually put money in motion and close, they backed out of the deal. This wasn't just a preapproved loan -- it was literally prefunded and sitting in an SBA account ready to be dispersed. Now Paragon is even refusing to return my $5,000 good-faith deposit, which is the lowest of the low for a supposed relationship-driven bank.
NO customer focus, they play hide and seek
