"Welcome to Paradise". I heard this voice when I walked in and two smiling people greeted me that way in the freezing cold, gray winter. I have to say that was neat. This is a wonderful shop I am so happy I found by accident. Fran is incredibly accommodating and helpful. She knows her fabrics! I appreciate her no nonsense informativeness. Really disappointed. I was so excited by the fabric selection but the staff wasn't friendly. I wasn't greeted, I didn't feel welcomed, and my impression was I was a nuisance rather than a customer. The lights were off in most of the shop making it difficult to see the fabrics (especially in the batiks section). I had to wait almost 10 minutes holding bolts of fabric while they had a discussion over the cutting table. “Welcome to Paradise!” Is how you’re greeted at this delightful jewel of a quilt shop! Their selection is great, lots of fun patterns for quilts and other things, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Look through the “scrap bags” for good deals. They have extra wide fabric for quilt backing… and they have long-arm services. I loved everything about this store!!! Wish I lived closer!
very friendly and knowledgeable. large area for classes. and lots of seasonal fabrics. My go to shop for Funkey Friends. I did not find the Rex, but I finally broke down and bought the Giraffe (so darn cute). Found more Villa Rosa cards. I was so excited to pick from the Flamingo pond. I won some much needed tweezers for my sewing room.
What a great shop. Everything you could possibly need for quilting. Knowledgeable staff very friendly and willing to help. The owner is amazing! Must include in any shop hop destination.
