Wonderful! This place is better than all!
We bought here in 2019. I was a little hesitant at first as I was just turning 60 and I thought I was too young to live in 55+ community. Boy was I wrong. I have met so many great people and have been involved in so many great activities. I was able up retire at 62 because it is so affordable to live here. We love our 55+ community, amenities and activities. We enjoy dances, shows, games, pool parties and so much more. I personally volunteer to chair the book club, the library and a director of the Social Committee. We have great participation and a community of volunteerism. We are not corporate owned which is a blessing! This is an excellent retirement community to be a part of.
We have lived in Paradise Island for over 3 years and love it! There are so many activities you will never be bored! The clubhouse, pool and hot tub are beautiful. We have a Church in the Park which is full of loving people of all faiths as it is Non-Denomination. We have made so many friends here! We lived in St. Petersburg in our home for over 30 years and didn't know too many of our neighbors. Here we know so many lovely people. We know we made the right choice. Moved here 11 years ago to this Resident-owned park from a corporate-owned park. This is the best park in Pinellas County in terms of value, safety, aesthetics, social activities & proximity to everything you need. It is at the highest elevation in the area and does not flood. There are resident-owned (shareholder) lots & leaseholder lots. Included in lot fees, water/sewer/refuse/lawn maintenance & cable and the fees are still significantly lower than elsewhere.
