What a horrible service. The idea of having transportation for those with accessibility needs is great however the ability to actually execute and help people Is significantly lacking Amd honestly frustrating. It feels like its all about the money and the bottom line. The people paying and using the service are the ones suffering and being late to appointments and their activities. The insurance reason I use this service is because there are no other options. I understand that with any government entity, there will be issues not present in the private sector. However the customer service is none existent. I've been spoken down to by sevral reps. Drivers don't seem to be able to find addresses properly. Trips are routinely late with 0 explanation as to why you end up waiting double the expected wait time.
Had para for crps, fibromialgia and a bunch of other mobility issues. They randomly ended my necessary service for permanent conditions without a word or even a letter. I've been without it for a year now and they are discriminating against me and abusing my child who i haven't been able to take anywhere since being cut off. This includes all healthcare, daycare, play groups, cheo appointments, etc. CHEO has been bending over backwards to work around this limitation by doing home visits for certain things.
