Amazing show by Bread and Puppet theater came to the Paperhand Puppet space.
Fascinating experience! After seeing giant Paperhand Puppets perform at The Forest Theater in Chapel Hill this summer, I participated in a fall program/tour at Paperhand's Saxapahaw workshop led by cofounder Donovan Zimmerman. The artistry, philosophy, operations & future directions are inspiring. To see so many hand-made masks & even operate a puppet's larger-than-life hand made this tour unforgettable. Go if you can, but make advance arrangements for your group to have this full experience.
