I’ve been shopping at this fruit shop in Panetta for many years, but my recent experience was disappointing. Florence, who was working on Friday at the cashier, came across as impolite and uninterested in her job. The overall service did not feel welcoming. I have also read other reviews mentioning poor customer service, and based on my experience, I think this shop really needs to improve its customer service.
Often their fresh product is already going bad. The place is not cheap they should know better. I bought these plums in the photo yesterday and today 3 of them turned out moulding inside already. A few weeks ago I bought some San Daniele prosciutto and despite being vacuum sealed and kept in the fridge, it tasted moulded already when * opened it after a few days. I have been coming to this shop since it first opened, and I have always appreciated the beautiful products you offer. However, I am very disappointed with a recent experience I had with one of the cashiers. The cashier at the far end, who appears to be older than the rest of the staff, was quite rude and unhelpful. Unlike the other staff members who kindly place purchased items into bags, she placed the items down carelessly, and some even ended up on the floor. My partner and I have been loyal customers at this shop for many years. Today I went in to buy my box of salad mix. I scanned my loyalty card as usual, but later noticed the points were not added to the receipt. I politely asked the staff member to cancel and redo the transaction, or to cancel the sale if the points could not be applied. They’ve good range of olives, the green sicilian marinated with lemon and garlic was unbelievable. Reasonable price, and good customer service. That’s what we need in our locals
