My child had Hope Koontz for math classes at the upper school. I didn't realize it until after we unenrolled, but my student shared with me that they felt picked on personally and made to feel dumb by Ms. Koontz regarding math topics. My student said she would often act exasperated when questions were asked and had rolled her eyes at my student a few times, never offering real help.
