This facility is unprofessional and uncaring. Find a facility that will determine whether or not they can care for your family member BEFORE accepting your money without a refund.
This Senior living center took my aunt’s 10 GRAND when she didn’t even spend ONE NIGHT here and they are refusing to give it back to her. She has dementia and needs all the money she can get for her care. Do not send your loved ones here, they only care about the money. Please, tell me how your facility keeping her $10,000 is better in your hands than a sick senior?
Palos Heights Senior Living has REFUSED to give my aunt with dementia back $10,000 of money used to try to place her there. They refused her and are keeping ALL of the money. Do not send your loved ones here. They do not care about their clients or seniors in their community.
It deeply disgusts me that this place will take an individual’s money ($10k), have her move her belongings in, THEN evaluate her and determine she isn’t appropriate for their facility and kick her out… she didn’t stay even 1 night. THIS PLACE REFUSES TO REIMBURSE ANY OF HER MONEY. Be careful giving money to this place before your loved one has been evaluated and accepted fully into the program… you won’t get it back. How many other families did they do this to???
