Three months after my husband, John, was in Palm Lake Care for two weeks respite, we are still dealing with the consequences from what I can only assume was lack of care. He is diabetic and an amputee, (left leg below the knee) and is unable to get himself out of bed and to the toilet without help. I trusted Palm Lake Care to provide safe and professional respite, but instead we came away with avoidable complications, distress, and long-term consequences that we are still managing today.

Terrible management, awful food for residents, only 2 pads provided per residents each shift and a disregard for their feedback. The facility is consistently understaffed, and staff allocation is inefficient. Employees are not treated with respect, and management fails to keep their promises. As a result, staff morale is low, and turnover is very high.

As per R K B's review. No regard for their staff members wellbeing putting residents safety at risk. Junior RN's crying, burnout. Terrible management. They push you out if you expose their wrongdoings. Addit 31/03/25: Thank you for your response. This certainly was not the atmosphere I experienced. Conversations are based on how to survive, not thrive.
