I recently had treatment for spider veins caused by larger veins so required radiofrequency ablation therapy and sclerotherapy. I saw Dr Mary and she made me feel comfortable in our first consultation. She has also had the same procedure done herself so was able to speak from experience as a patient as well. I was still very nervous on the day of the procedure but Mary and the team put me at ease, and we even swapped book recommendations during the procedure and had a good laugh as well. I had Radiofrequency Ablation treatment done today by Dr Mary Swan for by varicose veins, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. I was really nervous going in, with a strong fear of needles, but as soon as the team knew this, they were incredibly kind and reassuring. They talked me through everything step by step, kept me distracted with interesting conversation that led to laughter, and created such a calming environment for me from lavender pillow to relaxing music in the background.
