It was so hard to decide that it was time to put my mother in a dementia facility. We toured several places before our appointment at St. Catherine’s Commons. We met with Maria and she was so welcoming and answered all of our questions. My mom has been there a year now and I couldn’t see her being anywhere else. The staff is amazing and have helped our family get through this transition. Thank you to each and every one of the great staff! I know my mom is being well taken care of.

This used to be a nice place several years ago when it really was an independent living 55+ apartment building. Then they had regular one year leases. That changed to a month to month "resident agreement" with a schedule of service and rates, where rates and rents can be raised anytime. Residents had to divulge all their personal financial assets. We did a tour here for an elderly relative and it's a very nice place. It's apartments, 1 and 2 bedroom mostly. So that's pretty basic, apartments are nice because there are options for 2 bathrooms and each has washer dryer hookups. There are lots of awesome activities so that's really the selling point. The women that gave us the tour was very nice, but I'd say it was hard for my elderly relative to get down the long long hallways without her walker.
