Wow! The Painted Hills are truly one of Oregon’s most spectacular natural wonders. Photos really don’t do this place justice! The layers of color, the rolling hills, and the dramatic landscape are absolutely breathtaking. It’s hard to believe something this beautiful is tucked away in eastern Oregon. We visited on a gorgeous, sunny October day, and the clear blue skies made the colors of the hills even more striking.
