Take your taxes elsewhere. This firm is no longer trustworthy under Wes' ownership. He is dismissive, rude, and condescending. After acquiring the business, he increased the price for a corporate return by 30% without notifying existing clients. When I asked why this wasn’t communicated, he responded, “I’ve been in this business a long time. I do pretty well and can be selective with the clients I accept.” This attitude speaks volumes. Jeff does an incredible job with his clients. He is thorough and has an impressive ability to understand and remember everyone's unique situation, I recommend him all day.
Jeff spent over an hour with me going over my 2016 taxes. I used written forms instead of the computer turbo tax which most tax accountants won't even look at. And the taxes were complicated: a house sale with no capital gains, an apartment in that house with capital gains, depreciation, itemized deductions and much much more. He made several helpful suggestions and corrections and wouldn't take payment for his time. Plus he was very personable.
