I bought teriyaki sauce and garlic pepper sauce - both way overpriced. The female employee was nice enough, but there are no prices listed on anything and it's so annoying having to ask for price checks on each individual item. I mentioned this to her and she said the prices constantly change. In what universe is that not shady? I'm so bummed. I had hoped to become a regular customer, but I'm not doing the "we'll name the price when you get here" game.
Great selection of fresh produce, meat cuts, spice mixes, and other food from many different Asian cuisines - I saw options from Korean, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine (including soda and candies) but that was from just one trip where I glanced over what I could look into trying to cook with. I bought 2lbs of raw spare beef ribs and it was an awesome cut of meat - fresh, marbled meat and the thick fat was well rendered after cooking low and slow went great with my curry!
Great, finally found a store that sells grape leaves for a dish I make. There gonna keep them stocked for me.
