Traveled into Seattle during the day and walked around for a couple of hours. Wondered what to do and found the iMax theater which we thought would be dinosaurs, or explore the ocean, or maybe see the stars. Nope, Superman. 2 hours later I was glad we got to do something and the popcorn and soda were great. The theater was excellent. Didn’t get to see it in 3D but it was fine without it.
I saw the “Blue Whales: Return of the Giants” in this IMAX theater. Big screen and perfect sound
One of the largest IMAX screens on this side of the globe, is worth watching an action movie. Screens like this attract people to theatres again. Though expensive, is worth the money. Boeing IMAX plays feature films while the other PACCAR plays documentaries. In Boeing IMAX, the tickets are without seat numbers. Thus one needs to go earlier especially for good seating options if watching a popular movie
It's been a while since I've been here. Recently saw F1 and the experience did not disappoint. The sound was point on, bass where it was supposed to be including higher and lower frequencies. The blacks/contrast ratio was incredible. The blacks matched the darkness of the theater so you couldn't really see where the screen ends/begins in dark scenes.
