I give this practice a zero.   It has taken a week to get crucial medication for my husband who has Parkinson’s.   I’ve called 5 times and they had no clue that he’s been on it for years.   And in addition , they filled it in tablets vs capsules which is $50 cheaper.   I specifically called about, and the next day they again filled the med in tablets.   Ridiculous and inept!!

continued from previous post. We have had several communications with the Hospital since then and the campus police were called on my husband twice just because he kept calling wanting someone to talk with him and explain the lies that were told. On 01-04-24, I spoke with Dr. Leah Cohn the Dean of the University Hospital, and she stated, “that after reviewing the reports, they were in the wrong, the Dr gave the wrong diagnosis, and the wrong treatment(s); she was sorry, and actions were taken to educate the new staff more o... read more

My husband and I were sent to Mizzou Veterinarian Hospital on 12/14/23 by our Vet Dr. Shawnee Clark DVM with suspected prostate cancer, Mizzou Veterinarian Hospital was considered the best in animal oncology. I went to the bank and took out a loan against our two vehicles for $13,000.00. When we arrived Thursday at 4: 00 p.m., and admitted Spud, we... read more

For the last year our border collie Zeus has had a multiple of serious health issues and had been humainly and competently cared for by Dr Rebecca Simon of Pet Center. She took care of Zeus with compassion and said that to further diagnose we needed to take him to UM Vet Health Center. We had a multitude of tests and in the end Zeus was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, a rectal mass that could be malignant, anemia, a heart mummer and other co-morbities. We knew he days were limited and at his age (13 years) we basically ju... read more

My pet was first seen in June, 2021 for possible surgery of cancerous liver tumor. They insisted I put her on cushing’s medicine before proceeding. I finally reluctantly put her on it. Well, it was the beginning of the end for her. It threw her into high blood pressure, kidney failure, pancreatitis. I stopped the meds but it was too late for her. She was seen again in August, 2021. She was seen on a Thursday and that evening after returning home she collapsed. I treated her for 2 weeks until she passed of kidney fail... read more

Don’t bother calling. Phone message says, “we are not taking phone calls. Send us an email”. I realize there are special conditions now. I took my very sick animal to an animal hospital and got excellent care.
