Brian was very nice at first. I paid him to put an e-bike together. Everything went great. He seemed like a nice, reputable guy. Then I gave him a bicycle to sell on consignment. When his shop closed, I never received a phone call or any notification that the bike sold. After sending multiple emails and FB messages, he wrote back admitting that the bike had sold and that he owed me $150. He asked for my address to send a check - which I did. Payment was NEVER sent. The new, mobile offerings with pick up, drop off, and on site service are so helpful for busy families! Its been great to see this addition to our community as you help to get more folks safely on bikes.
Brian’s service is top notch. He helped me find a perfect bike for my 9-year old, and just helped me fix up my cargo bike (bought elsewhere). The service was professional, fast, and very reasonably priced. He even needed to talk to the place I bought my bike because something about the ebike made it rather specialized. He did all this and ordered the part before having me come in with my bike. Brian is very kind and very good at his job!!
I have been riding a 20+ year old hardtail for a long time now and I finally upgraded and purchased my first brand new bicycle ever! Oyster River Cycle and Sport is awesome. Brian, the owner, is very knowledgeable, friendly and quick with service. We have had several bikes (kids' 16", 20", up to adult) serviced with great results. Highly recommend them for any service needs. They also have a decent supply of high quality gear. Brian has leveraged his expertise to stock key items that will keep you on the road or trail or outfit you if you are beginning.
