I moved out of state and she filed my taxes incorrectly showing that my income was made in California when i moved to Indiana. So California is now trying to make me pay state tax that i didn't earn there. My mom has been trying to get ahold of her to get an amendment and she does not answer. When i try calling her voicemail just says she is closed until January of next year.. how does a tax preparer stay closed and unable to answer any questions regarding your taxes until the following year???
I never went to them before. I did my taxes back in May. I received my state right away, but never any word on my federal. I called them and the lady said she checked and it said processing, this was in August, I went online to check where’s my refund and I found out it was never filed!!!!! They have not answered my calls , have not called me back and it is now the end of October… 🤬 I went to them because they had good reviews and seemed legit… now I can’t get a hold of and will be filing a complaint to the IRS…
